Edit an area with a prompt (recommended first edit)
This method lets you regenerate only a selected part of an image using a text prompt.
When to use this
Change an object, detail, or background area
Keep the overall image composition the same
Steps
Select an image on the canvas.
Click Edit area in the top toolbar.
Choose a selection tool:
Brush
Lasso
Area
Magic Wand
Select the part of the image you want to change.
Write a prompt describing the change.
Click Recraft .
Only the selected area is regenerated. The rest of the image stays unchanged.
