Personal data

The only personal data required to create a Recraft account is a user’s name, email address, and billing details. Payment information is never stored by Recraft and is securely managed by Stripe and Google Pay. Generated images are not considered personal data unless they contain identifiable information.

Storage and retention

Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest. By default, all security documentation and audit trails are kept for a minimum of seven years, unless otherwise specified. For API usage, generation results are deleted within 24 hours to minimize exposure.

Encryption and confidentiality

Recraft applies industry-standard encryption to protect data at rest and in transit. Continuous monitoring systems are in place to detect and respond to unauthorized access.

Deletion

If a user deletes their account, all personal data is permanently erased. Uploaded images are also removed, though images generated on Free plans may remain visible in the community gallery.

Data use principles

Recraft does not monetize user data and does not permit ads, trackers, or reselling of personal information. Assets generated with Recraft are not allowed to be used to train external AI models.
